Montana Ranch Location & Activities

Montana Sweetwater Ranch is located in the Flathead Valley just minutes from Glacier National Park, Bob Marshall Wilderness Area, Flathead Lake, and Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort.  The ranch is located in the heart of cattle country close to miles of breathtaking hiking and blue ribbon trout fishing. The original ranch house and restored 1906 barn sit on top a bluff overlooking horse pastures with magnificent valley views in every direction; Flathead River to the West, Jewel Basin in the Swan Range to the East, acres of forest to the South, and cattle ranches framed by the mountains of the Glacier to the North.  

Directions to the Ranch

To locate Sweetwater Ranch from Glacier Park International Airport, take a right onto US Highway 2 heading South. 

Highway 2 runs into Highway 35 at the first major intersection. K-Mart will be on your right. 

Take a left onto Highway 35. Continue on Highway 35 until you reach the small town of Creston. 

Take a right at the Fire Station onto Riverside Road. Drive 1.3 miles on Riverside Road until you see white vinyl horse fencing on your left and a 5' sign also on the left for "Sweetwater Ranch." 

Take a left at the sign and follow the driveway up the hill to a gray ranch house at the top of the hill. Check in at the ranch house.
